About me
William (Bill) Miller is the Senior Director for Research Computing and Data at the University of Utah, where he holds a leadership appointment at the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute and directs the Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC). He provides strategic direction in RCD to advance discovery and innovation at the University and beyond. Dr. Miller joined the U following a federal career at the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy and prior careers in space systems engineering and experimental neuroscience. He holds a B.S.E. in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California – Davis.
